After checking into our hotel we figured we would grab some lunch before going to our next planned activity. Our hotel suggested the Hangar Restaurant and we decided to check it out. We sat outside and are glad we did as we were able to watch planes land and take off while soaking in the views of the ocean in the distance. The drinks were great and the food was delicious! This was a really cool spot with great food and a made for quite an enjoyable lunch! Highly recommend to go check it out! (Downstairs you are able to book a flight for an affordable price!)

Really cool place to grab a bite before a show at the Mahaffey Theater or a visit to the Dali Museum. Watch planes taxi and land. Happened to also be St Pete Boat Show and parking was scarce but an exceptional parking attendant helped me out. I had a burger and fries and both were exceptional. Service was great. Refills without trying to flag someone down. This was my first visit to the area and it was awesome.

Wish I tried this place sooner. A unquie dining experience where you can sit inside or outside and watch the planes at this private airport take off and land. The menu had a variety of options which my friend and I were sold on their fried chicken. Get biscuits in gravy or a sandwich, both dishes were packed with delicious flavor.

I was so pleasantly delighted by this place, it was unexpected. The bread was absolutely divine. I did not expect it to be a highlight, but it came with three different sides to pair with it, including a garlic chive butter, and a basil pesto, and it was incredible. The bread itself was soft on the bottom with a super crunchy flake on top. I don't even know why I'm still talking about this bread right now, but it was really just that good. The fries were also good, they're the type that have a crunchy texture on the outside with a soft chewy inside. I also had a salad with walnuts, strawberries, and it was good. I added chicken which was juicy and well cooked and seasoned. Overall, this place was really good. I will likely be back.

The management was kind enough to allow me to do live painting here Monday during an astounding jazz night. the music was fantastic! Hanger burger was everything they said it was! I had one yesterday and I'm already ready for another one grilled to perfection jans served just as ordered ! I will be back ! every time I've gone, the servers have been beyond friendly ! if you want to hear some great music on Monday and have the best flight lounge experience !

Quality restaurant! We have been here a couple of times, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was great both times, and service was good and friendly. Reasonable prices as well. We love the setting with all the airplane memorabilia. For dinner they had live music, and you can't beat being able to sit outside and checking out the planes taking off and landing. As an added bonus is one of the few places downtown Saint Pete's with their own (and free) parking lot, which makes it super convenient not having to look for parking.

If I could give The Hangar a 10 star rating I would! The atmosphere is awesome, staff was friendly and attentive. Bartender Matt serves a mean Cosmo martini! And then the food.....WOW is all I can say. I never order meatloaf out because I make fantastic meatloaf. Matt suggested I try it and man am I glad he did! Two large slices of bacon wrapped meatloaf smoothened in delicious gravy. Served on fresh made mashed potatoes. To die for! Hubby had the Reuben and was so pleased at the thick, tender slices of corned beef! Everything about this meal was fantastic! It will definitely be a go to stop when we are in the area!

Went to the Dali museum and decided to try this place for lunch. The atmosphere is wonderful we sat outside and watched the planes come and go and the waitress that we had was very friendly and very efficient... And the food was fantastic. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I went... Gotta go back soon . My friend had the Reuben sandwich and he said it was the best that he has ever. Had they cook everything there. I had a turkey bacon sandwich. They also roast their own turkey breast. It was fantastic.
